Historical Ranch

Six Mile Ranch in Huson, MT, is a historic cattle ranch, established by Ken and Roberta Frazers in the late 1940's and early 1950's, evolving from commercial Hereford cattle to a renowned Red Angus operation, named for the creek on their property; it's a family legacy focused on genetics, quality, and tradition, a cornerstone of the Ninemile Valley's ranching heritage. 

The 6 Mile Ranch, is a significant part of the Ninemile Valley's ranching landscape, blending natural beauty with a strong western tradition!

Today

Original homestead was built in 1896 and was originally used for logging to clear a path for the railroad.

Ken & Roberta Fraser: The ranch began with newlyweds Ken and Roberta trading cows in 1949 and buying land with help from Ken's former employer in 1954.

They started with commercial cattle, primarily Herefords, working hard to build their herd and business.

Rory and Renee Minjares own and operate the ranch.
